Today I am sharing with you this small Wedding/Elopement that was absolutely beautiful! This couple only needed wedding photography services for 3 hours and in such a short time we were able to capture a series of very beautiful photos.
This wedding took place in the middle of the day at Lake Seminole Park, although it was very sunny we were able to get a good area under the trees for the photos of the bride and groom. In those few hours, we were able to capture the ceremony, the formal photos with the bride and groom, the first dances, and the formal photos with the family.
Tips for a midday park wedding in Pinellas
Keren and Daniel’s ceremony was in the middle of the day, when Florida sun is at its strongest. Instead of fighting it, we found a shaded area under the trees at Lake Seminole Park for their portraits. The shade keeps light even on faces, stops squinting, and gives that soft green background you see in their photos. If your park ceremony is midday too, I recommend picking your portrait spot ahead of time and planning a few extra minutes to walk there.
Even in a short amount of coverage, we photographed everything that mattered most to them: the ceremony, their portraits as newlyweds, their first dances and formal photos with family. A shorter timeline works beautifully when we plan the order of the day together beforehand, so nobody is rushed and nothing important gets missed.
If you’re planning a small wedding or elopement, my elopement and wedding packages start at $1,500 for elopements, with full wedding collections from $2,900 to $4,800. Planning ahead? An engagement session is a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera first. Tell me about your date and I’ll help you choose the right coverage.
